In support of the North Shore Mining Babbitt location - we have been selected to supply fuel to the mine. Currently the mine is supplied out of petroleum storage tanks a short distance away from the proposed property. The current storage tank used for this supply is inadequate in size relative to the operation and not currently owned by the new supplier. This use is in harmony with the neighborhood as there are multiple propane bulk storage tanks and petroleum storage tanks in close proximity.

DAYS AND HOURS OF OPERATION

Field is required.This business supplies fuel to North Shore Mining in support of their Babbitt MN mine location. This business will have 2-4 employees that fill equipment and tanks belonging to North Shore Mining. This location will be used to store the trucks and equipment used in support of these operations. Specifically - Bulk fuel trucks (2-4) and petroleum storage tanks (4-8) where fuel will be stored before being loaded on trucks and delivered to the customer. The expectation is drivers will fuel 2-3 times a day with the potential for emergency call outs as needed. The current provider parks their trucks in the adjacent building on parcel 625-0030-00320 and they load fuel from the petroleum tanks located directly to the North and West in parcel 625-0011-05012. This will not cause an increase in truck or vehicle traffic in the immediate area.
