LAND ALTERATION


Land Alterations: Filling, grading, or excavating, on shore land property requires a land alteration permit if the activity that you are planning exceeds certain limits.
 
Field is required.We are building a new cabin. We will have to remove soils and vegetation to pour pier footings. Once complete we will bring the disturbed areas back to meet requirements. The access path to the lake will be reduced to no more than 12 feet wide except for the near shore area where additional rock was installed for natural drainage from the property. The access road is in place and consists of 2" to 3" river rock with permeable fabric underneath. This is a loose rock, not tamped or rolled. Other trails will be topsoiled and seeded. We plan to finish the cabin in the summer of 2024 and have the new alterations per the site sketch complete by 8/31/2024.

Field is required.We will be using silt fence to prevent anything running down to the lake. Once the project is complete we will plant native grass, wildflower, clover and pine to shore up any disturbed areas.
