LAND ALTERATION
Land Alterations: Filling, grading, or excavating, on shore land property requires a land alteration permit if the activity that you are planning exceeds certain limits.
Construction will develop the site in two phases; the first includes an emergency fill which primarily allows for boat launching while funds are in progress; the second phase consists of a complete renovation of the boat launch. The phase two construction includes an 18’x20’ concrete boat launch and 5’x12’ concrete planks and a 20’x20’bituminous landing, a dredged area (approximately 85 cu. yd.) for ease of access to be filled with 1.0’ of riprap. The perimeter of the concrete pad will be filled with riprap to limit further erosion. It will also include a riprap ditch along the access road, redirecting water to a wetland north of the project area. A culvert will be installed to drain the water under the access road without eroding the surrounding material.

Excavation will occur below the OHWL to a max depth of 4.0' and minimal excavation (less than 0.5') will occur above the OHWL.
